Summer 2015 has come to an end for Don and I. We start back to work full time tomorrow. But we ended with a bang! Here is a photo compilation of our last month of summer:
1: mid - end of July - we had our annual beach week at Emerald Isle, NC - this was year #13 for us!! So much fun with all of the family, and this year Carleigh's friend, Ana joined us for the week!!!

A new item this year at Emerald Isle - we decided to do an old time photo - here are the girls with the heavy makeup - ready to go....

2. Bears Den for sunset - early August - we took Carleigh and some of her friends up for a sunset hike -
3. August - Don goes camping in PA with the guys - yep, he had a "boy party in the woods" for 3 nights!
4. Girls trip to NYC - Katie, Rina and I went on an overnight to NYC to see The Lion King on Broadway!

And summer comes to an end.....but...we are gearing up for:
- Carleigh in 10th grade,
- Katie in 8th grade,
- Laura still in 7th grade, and
- Don still in 6th grade!
Also stay tuned for:
- JV Volleyball updates from Carleigh
- Volleyball updates from Katie - she made the 7th/8th grade "Open" team
- Afterschool musical theater class for Katie
- Carleigh working for the LVHS Newspaper
- and Laura and Don driving them around for all of these events. ;)
- Don is also counting down to the December release of the new Star Wars movie - that is a HUGE event in our house!!
But we can't forget planning for our next vacations.....
- Carleigh will be traveling to Orlando in November for a Journalism conference, will Laura chaperone? (I hope so!)
- Preparing for our spring break cruise - Disney cruise to Grand Cayman, Bahamas and Cozumel with a Star Wars Day at Sea!!!
So, though summer is over.....stay tuned because our Rahn house is just as busy as ever and enjoying our lives as we live "Seldom a Dull Moment!"
