Early December 2020 - Holiday fun, Christmas Decorations, Sonny and a Pandemic

December started at home...Katie was home from GMU for the remainder of the semester, not to return until January 23, 2021. Carleigh was back at UMW enjoying her off-campus apartment and finishing her semester in Fredericksburg.

Don has decided to teach from the basement for the remainder of the time until the holiday vacation, so we are all just finding ways to enjoy this different holiday season!

I built our annual Christmas Village - Rahnville...

A beautiful December night ...

November, 2020 - Sonny, An Election, Sonny, Thanksgiving and a Pandemic

November came and still no end in sight to the Pandemic. The conversations turned to how will we celebrate Thanksgiving and what fun can we create for ourselves during the month of November?

Carleigh and friends came up for a long weekend...and to play with Sonny!

Early voting for Carleigh!

Then the election day that we've all been waiting for came, Katie and Carleigh's first presidential election!

More Sonny!

Fun times with friends!

Happy #52 to Laura! Delicious cupcakes made by Katie!

So...November closes with the world still in a Global Pandemic and the numbers rising. The holiday season will definitely look different this year as we all try to safe and protect each other.

The challenge is on! Find joy and fun in the midst of all of this craziness...stay tuned to see how we accomplish that as
