Emerald Isle, NC #8

Our week at the beach was very relaxing after the business of Walt Disney World, but even with relaxation....we added our own Rahn fun!

We definitely found time to relax:

We fed the seagulls - on the beach, far away from our house. :)

We went go kart racing with my sister, Patty and her husband, Ev:

Then came family photo time - our annual last night on the beach photo shoot.  This year we actually had a costume change.....

We started with tie dye shirts and then switched to black shirts.

Emerald Isle is always a fun time with my family. "Seldom A Dull Moment" is always true whenever the Rahns are around!

Now to think about packing for Seattle, and work with my Learning Excursion group of teachers from around the country to write curriculum for Microsoft - our basic lesson plans need to be complete before I get on the plane next Wednesday....didn't know that this would be part of the crazy adventure I got accepted for.

Next stop:  Dulles Airport at 3:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27  - Seattle, WA here we come!
